Meteor Strike: Fireball from Space

In February 2013 a meteorite bigger than a double decker bus, travelling at 40,000 miles an hour, crashed into planet Earth. Weave helped astrophysicists explain exactly what it was and reveal how likely it is to happen again. The project demanded a very quick turn around of stylish and effective explanatory motion graphics. We also provided up close and personal VFX of the 10,000 tonne space rock as it hurtled toward Russia.
